It's a great stop for the things you need or just to experience a true country store. Great breakfast tacos.
Folks are always nice here. If you get there early there are decent sammies in the fridge.
In some ways this truly is a general store. They have a lot of different kinds of things. There's also a little restaurant and two gas pumps. And a lot of the prices are pretty decent to boot.
The staff is friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. The store seemed well stocked on anything you could want at a convenience store and then some. My family spent the night at the camp ground behind the store. The view was lovely and the river is beautiful! We can't wait to go back!!!
It's a good place to stop when Lost Maples is temporarily full. And if the official campsites are full too the general store has tent and rv sites.
Great old timey store does a great job making you feel at home. The selection is pretty small, but in three trips here, they have always had what I need (including anti-freeze this morning.) Stop in here, even if you don't need anything.
